Scholarship

From our inception, Zeta women have embraced scholarship by encouraging the highest standards in the achievement of academic excellence of our members. As a sisterhood we have consistently supported scholarship including:


• $3.5 million awarded to college students over the past five years
• Arizona Cleaver Stemons $100,000 Scholarship given in 2020
• Pearl Anna Neal $125,000 Scholarship given in 2021

Delta Iota Zeta Scholarship Initiatives

Supporting Liberian Higher Education

Since 2021, Delta Iota Zeta Chapter awards the A. Doris Banks Henries Scholarship to young women attending the University of Liberia.

Delta Iota Zeta also recognizes the need to encourage scholarship endeavors outside of the traditional classroom setting. As such the chapter also awards annual scholarships to adult women in the Go Girl Grow Financial Literacy program.
