Soror Victoria Cooper

President

Soror Victoria Cooper was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She holds a BBA in Finance and Economics from Boston University, where, in Spring 1977, she became a member of the Boston metropolitan Theta Alpha Chapter of the sorority. She obtained her MBA in International Finance from Columbia University, New York.

Soror Cooper moved to Liberia in 1980. In 1993 she moved to Ghana, became a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and later established her consulting firm CoEn Consulting specializing in public sector reform. Returning to Liberia in 2011, she is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Monrovia and led the club in raising over $200,000 for the provision of an oxygen plant to a local hospital. She is committed to service and supporting activities that improve people’s lives. She is recently retired from her role as Senior Vice President for East and Southern African for Chemonics International.

Soror Sara Buchanan

Soror Sara Buchanan holds a Master’s of Science in Enterprise Risk Management from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from University of Phoenix. She demonstrates her commitment to service through her position as Executive Director of the Orange Foundation and Orange Digital Center, as well as the Chairman of the Board of the Gbowee Peace Foundation. While both these roles enable her to engage in service, she expands that to her personal life through support to young women and girls, mentoring youth in business and assistance to children’s homes.

Soror Jobila Sy Secretary

Dr. Jobila Sy is a Sierra Leonean-Liberian American who became a member of the Tau Theta Chapter at the University of Virginia in 2003. She later joined the Omicron Xi Zeta Chapter in Williamsburg, Virginia and the Alpha Alpha Lambda Zeta Chapter in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. She is the Associate Dean for Academic Success, an Associate Professor, and Chair of the Education Enhancement Department at the American University of Antigua – College of Medicine. In addition, she is the Co-Founder of Teach for Liberia, a Board Member of Africa Community Exchange, and Reves International Advisory Board Member for the College of William and Mary. Dr. Sy earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia, master's degree and doctorate in Educational Policy, Planning and Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education Administration from the College of William and Mary.



Soror Decontee King-Sackie - Treasurer

Soror King-Sackie holds a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University, a degree in Law from the University of Liberia and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University Liberia. She also holds the professional qualification of the Associate of Chartered Certified Accountants. She recently retired as the Deputy

Commissioner for Revenue at the Liberia Revenue Authority where she served as a key partner for the provision of equipment and support to their revenue collection sites on behalf of USAID. Ms. King-Sackie is also a member of Rotary and her dedication to Service Above Self involved her in many service activities supporting our community. In addition, she tutors students preparing to take accounting examinations and supports children in her community by putting them on scholarship to enable them to

attend school.

Soror Renetta Armstrong

Mrs. Renetta Armstrong is a senior level non-profit executive whose focus is expanding access to deeply affordable quality housing opportunities to women of color with children. Specializing in compliance and strategic operations, Mrs. Armstrong has a proven track-record in supporting community-based organizations in maximizing their impact. Mrs. Renetta Armstrong holds a Master’s in Education Administration and Policy from Howard University and a certification in early childhood education from the Maryland State Department of Education. Mrs. Armstrong is the former managing director of Homeless Children’s Playtime Project and executive director of Carrie Simon House.

Soror Fredical Mars Mulbah

Fredical Mars Mulbah is a Liberian, born in Kakata, Margibi County, Liberia. For the past 15 years, Fredical has been using her excellent organizational skills to enhance daily operations of international organizations, service clubs and religious groups. Soror Mulbah obtained a MBA in Financial Management, in 2018 from the Cuttington University School of Graduates and Professional Services and BBA degree In Accounting, from the African Methodist Episcopal University, in the year 2005. She served as the Financial and Administrative Manager at Development Alternative Inc. Global, LEGIT project, USAID sponsor project.

With a passion for serving humanities, she joined the Lions Club of Sinkor, Monrovia. There she dedicates runs to various communities, orphanages, pregnant women, children, and senior citizens in need.

Soror Anna Ware - Chaplain

Soror Anna Lovelace Ware is an African-American with Nigerian (Yoruba) ancestry, born in Phoenix, raised in Harvey, Illinois. Anna holds both a Bachelors of Science in Dietetics and

Masters of Science in Education degrees from Chicago State University (CSU). Soror Lovelace Ware was initiated in the Beta Delta Chapter, Xavier University of Louisiana in Fall’83. She completed her undergraduate academic career with the Alpha Alpha Chapter at CSU. Soror Lovelace Ware received several awards from Tau Psi Zeta Graduate Chapter, Alsip, IL for her passion to the sisterhood and for community service. She has been active for 30 years in The Organization of Liberians in Illinois, where she participates in charitable and civic programs that improve the quality of life for Liberians in Chicago and abroad. Her charitable endeavors in Liberia include the donation of hospital bedding to the maternity ward at JFK Hospital. Some partners on the ground refer to Soror Ware as a “True Liberian sister of the Soil.”

Soror Freda Koomson

Soror Freda Koomson is a Liberian-Ghanaian American who was born in Brooklyn, New York. She holds a B.A in Health & Societies and African Studies from UPENN in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She earned her Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health. In 2016 she relocated to Liberia where she has worked in Health Systems Strengthening of the Liberian Ministry of Health as well as in Private Sector engagement. Soror Koomson was initiated into the sisterhood in the Fall of 2007 via the Mu Iota Chapter. She has been active in Lambda Lambda Zeta and Upsilon Eta Zeta chapters. She is passionate about service and committed to being a part of the revitalization & rebuilding of Liberia post-Ebola and the devastation of 15 years of Civil War. Today she leads a healthcare management consultancy company, LIB Healthline focused on improving access and quality of care in Liberia's healthcare sector.

Soror Moriah Yeakula-Korkpor

Soror Moriah Yeakula holds a Bachelor of Law from Louise Arthur Grimes School of Law at the University of Liberia, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with University Honors from Wayne State University. Recently, she completed her LLM with a specialization in Civil Litigation/Advocacy at LMU Loyola Law School. Professionally, Moriah is a lawyer and has most recently been employed as Chief of Staff to Liberian presidential candidate, Alexander Cummings. She demonstrates her commitment to service through many avenues of activism in Liberian daily life. She is one of the founders of the Liberia Cancer Resource Initiative (LCRI), which organizes the annual Walk for Breast Cancer in Liberia.

Soror LaShawn Jackson


Soror Marvelene Lepukoi

Soror Marvelene M.H Lepukoi is a finance wiz with the gift of negotiations and persuasion. She is multilingual, speaking in French, English, and Turkish, It is no wonder she was recognized by St. Clemente University and awarded the Most Eloquent Female. As the Founder & CEO of National Women’s Initiatives, Soror Lepukoi seeks to develop scholarship opportunities and offer services to empower Liberian women. As a politician, her goal is to garner support for more services that will aid all Liberians and to be a change agent in making governance more inclusive.





Soror Doris Idahor

Soror Doris Idahor gives big boss vibes with 25+ years of experience in the public and private sectors relating to public policy, strategic planning, human resource management, organization development, health workforce analytics, management and development, and business management consultancy. She a Doctoral Candidate in Public Policy & Administration. Soror Idahor is passionate about social impact and looks forward to implementing social change through Zeta initiatives.

Soror Roda Sancho

Soror Rhoda W. Sancho fervently served as an administrator of state human service programs for over 20 years. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Science in Psychology from Chicago State University. She truly understands the power of being a friend to man as she has volunteered her time and gifts to organizations like Northwest Indiana Food Pantry and Meals on Wheels and Organization of the Liberian Community in Illinois, She wants to empower Liberian women to be self-sufficient and confident and to make impactful changes in education policy that will promote scholarship among young people so they can see that education is the vehicle to their success.

Dr. Yatta Sackie-Wapoe

Dr. Yatta Wapoe, a distinguished medical professional and public health advocate. She holds a degree in general medicine from the A.M. Dogliotti College of Medicine in Monrovia, Liberia, and a Master’s in Public Health with a focus on Health Policy from Cuttington University Graduate School.

Currently serving as the Deputy Program Manager for Liberia’s National Malaria Control Program, Dr. Wapoe works tirelessly to improve malaria awareness and access to treatment. Her nine-year tenure as County Health Officer for Montserrado County showcased her leadership in managing healthcare services for Liberia’s largest population and navigating both epidemic and pandemic challenges.

Her passion for public health, service, and unwavering dedication to her community embodies the ideals of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., inspiring others to follow her lead.
